1. Dell Battery Extended Life Mode

On Windows 8.1 there was an extra setting for 'Desktop Mode' and for 'Battery Life Extender' from what I could tell they basically did the same thing, but both were listed. Basically when the laptop was plugged in for extended periods (like a desktop would be), it controlled how the battery charged, I don't remember exactly what the numbers were but it kept the battery between say 40% and 80%, with an occasional full charge or deep discharge (maybe not all those items, I'm writing this from memory).

I can not find this option on Windows 10, I have looked all over the power and performance options, but it was actually listed on the 'All Control Panel Items' page. I think it was a Windows option and not a Dell option, and I have checked all the disk that came with my pc, and it's not on any of them, neither can I find it on the Dell Download site. I can find it on the Windows 8/8.1 Q&A site, but when looking on the W10 site at all the Battery and Performance questions, ALL the MS employees default to it being a hardware problem and say the person needs to contact the pc manufacturer.
