Easter Eggs[edit]
If you're looking for a list of all the Easter Eggs with complete walkthroughs, including the main map Easter Egg, head over to the Shadows of Evil Easter Eggs page.
This map will seem very complex until you play it several times. Everyone starts out in a small alley called Easy Street. The area passed Easy Street is called Junction. Junction connects to three separate Districts: Canal, Waterfront, and Footlight. Almost every gate has a name above it telling you which district you're entering.
All three districts are split into three sections by gates: One section connects to Junction, one section connects to the monorail platform, and one section is the high street which can only be reached near the monorail platform by foot or by grappling to eagle heads while in beast mode.
The monorail costs 500 points to reach a district, and has a submachine gun wallbuy inside. Press the big green button at the station to call the monorail (if it's not already there), then choose a destination to travel to.
Beast Mode[edit]
This map has a new feature that allows players to become beasts. To do this, interact with a stone basin emitting purple flames. While in beast mode you can grapple onto eagle heads above the map, fire electricity to enable various machines, and melee attack to break open sealed door and crates.
Thank you for printing this page from www.SuperCheats.com. Remember to come back to check for more great content for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. 'Shadows of Evil' Sword cheats for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Beast mode only lasts for 25 seconds, and can only be activated if the emblem in the lower left corner is blue and the flames in a basin are purple. Each basin around the map can only be used once per round. After the 25 seconds are up, or if you choose to revert to human form before then, you will return to the stone basin where you became the beast.
All zombies will ignore you as the beast, which can be useful if you're being swarmed. However, you will not be able to purchase anything while in the beast form. Additionally, killing zombies while the beast will not earn you any points. Every attack/utility also makes the time shorter by small increments.
Pods[edit]
When you start in this map you can find an item called a fumigator. Pick this up and use them on the unusual looking pods around the map. Destroying these can give you a power up, a weapon, a zombie, a live grenade, or absolutely nothing. As waves become higher, the color of pods change. Green, red, and purple. Each color revolution yields different rewards, green being the lowest-level, and purple having the chance of spawning high-level items and weapons.
Perk-A-Cola Machines[edit]
Shadows of Evil contains a total of seven Perk-A-Cola Machines. Four of the seven machines will be in their same spots every time. The other three machines switch districts from game to game, but they're incredibly simple to find. When in the Junction section of the map, just after leaving Easy Street, look for broken Perk-A-Cola bottles near three exits. The color of the bottle will indicate which machine is in that district. Green = Speed Cola, Red = Jugger-Nog, Yellow = Double Tap Root Beer II.
Before any Perk-A-Cola machines can be used, the small generator near them must be enabled by zapping them with electricity as the beast. See the Beast Mode section above for more info.
Players can also go prone in front of machines to recieve a 100 point bonus, although this has a random chance of happening.
Machine | Price | Location |
---|---|---|
Quick Revive | 500 (Solo) 1500 (Multiplayer) | Easy Street |
Jugger-Nog | 2500 | Footlight District, Waterfront District, or Canal District |
Speed Cola | 3000 | Footlight District, Waterfront District, or Canal District |
Double Tap II Root Beer | 2000 | Footlight District, Waterfront District, or Canal District |
Stamin-Up | 2000 | Junction |
Mule Kick | 4000 | The Subway Station |
Widow's Wine | 4000 | The Subway Station |
A new Perk in Zombies is the Widow's Wine. This Perk replaces grenades with two Widow's Wine grenades. This is a sticky grenade that wraps nearby zombies in spider webs before exploding. A spider power up will drop that replenishes grenades, or the grenades will replenish after each round. Additionally, melee attacks to the player will cause a small explosion that will wrap the attacker in webs. Damage will still be taken from the attack
Pack-A-Punch Machine and Rituals[edit]
The Pack-A-Punch Machine requires a number of steps before it can be accessed in Shadows of Evil. To do this, you must collect five items around the map and use them in five rituals. This is also tied to the Beginning of the End achievement / trophy.
The Beginning of the End was thought to be the huge secret easter egg for the Shadows of Evil zombies map, but it's actually the steps towards unlocking the Pack-A-Punch Machine. To do so, you must find five items around the map and use them in five rituals. The items and rituals are listed below. The items can be found in any order, and the rituals can be done in any order, but the items must be used for rituals at specific spots.
The Pack-A-Punch machine upgrades the player's weapons for 5000 points. Additionally, special bullet effects can be added for another 2500 points, chosen randomly upon purchase.
The Items[edit]
All items require becoming the beast and interacting with a wooden crate or generator in some way. Interact with the purple flames in stone basins to become the beast. Once the item is accessible, return to human form and grab it with your own two hands.
Summoning Key: Found on Easy Street in a wooden crate in the back of a truck. You must become the beast to break open this crate to gain access to the summoning key.
Golden Fountain Pen: Found in Junction in a wooden crate. To gain access to this crate you must become the beast and zap a generator connected to a large crane. This will drop and break open the crate containing the golden fountain pen.
Detective's Badge: Found in the Canal District. To get this item you must become the beast, jump into the canal, find the wall with the beast logo (the same logo at the lower-left side of the screen) and zap the generator box inside, then follow the canals in the opposite direction to a wooden crate. Melee the crate as the beast to break it open and gain access to the badge.
Championship Belt: Found in the Waterfront District. To get this item you must become the beast, grapple onto the eagle heads in the area just before the gate to the next part of the Waterfront District, grapple to the next eagle head nearby, and melee the hanging, glowing wooden box. Inside is the championship belt.
Hairpiece: Found in the Footlight District. After opening the gate to this area, look up the locked get on the right side while transformed into a beast to find a glowing generator. Zap this generator to unlock the gate and open up a staircase. Climb the staircase and jump across to a narrow ledge where the wooden box containing the hairpiece is located. Melee the box to knock it down and gain access to the hairpiece.
The Rituals[edit]
All rituals involve placing the items from above on a specific table around the map and surviving an encounter with the ghost-like creatures. All you have to do is run around in circles and avoid death. Survive long enough to turn the items into gateworms. All four gateworms be carried at once when playing solo, but playing with teammates only allows one player to carry one gateworm.
The ritual for the Golden Fountain Pen is done in a room above Easy Street on Nero's Landing. To access the room, become the beast and grapple up to the fire escape above Easy Street. Quickly follow the path around to a generator and zap it to open up the staircase down to the spawn area. Return to human form and follow this path back up to the room up stairs and place the item on the ritual table.
The ritual for the Detective's Badge is done inside the Ruby Rabbit in the Canal District. This is the red building to the right of the monorail station. To access this building, become the beast and grapple up to the top floor. Quickly run down the stairs to a generator and zap it to open up the staircase to this area. Return to human form and ascend the stairs back to the ritual table inside this building.
The ritual for the Championship Belt is done inside the Anvil in the Waterfront District. This is the small boxing room down by the docks. To access this building, become the beast and melee the doors open. Return to human form and place the belt on the ritual table in the middle of the ring.
The ritual for the Hairpiece is done inside the Black Lace Burlesque in the Footlight District. This is the big building with all the lights at the end of the road. To access this building, become the beast and grapple up to the rooftops. Zap the generator when you land to open the door. Return to human form and place the hairpiece on the ritual table on the stage.
After completing the four rituals, you must take the gateworms through a rift to the subway area. If you're unfamiliar with rifts, they are gateways beyond sealed, blue steel doors at the Canal District, Footlight District, and Waterfront District. These doors must be opened using the melee attack while transformed into a beast. Revert to human form after opening one of these doors and interact with the device inside one of these rooms. A rift will open that leads to the subway.
While in the subway station, look for a wall with five glowing ruins. Touch these ruins to open a whole new area up. Place the gateworms in the four stone basins around this area (similar to the flaming basins that turn you into a beast) to open up a portal. Wallrun along the textured walls to reach the far side of this area. With all four gateworms in place, set the summoning key on the table near the entrance. Survive until the Shadowman comes by and the gateway turns blue. You can now interact with the gateway to Pack-A-Punch your weapons!
Creatures[edit]
The creatures on this map include regular zombies, Parasites, Margwas, Meatballs, and Keepers.
The Parasites are flying creatures that will spit acid. Initially they come around every four to six rounds and award players with a Max Ammo at the end, but later on they begin to come with the zombies. Keep moving to avoid their acid attack.
Margwas are large three-headed creatures. They may appear after a set round, after completing a ritual, or after finding a ritual item. The only way to defeat these beasts is to shoot the yellow glowing spots within their mouths. It can be tough since they have three mouths that open and close. Time your shots to conserve ammo. These beasts are very powerful and can down a player not using Jugger-nog with a single hit.
The Keepers usually appear during rituals or after finding items that are needed to access the Pack-A-Punch Machine. They can be killed like the zombie, but the ones that appear during the rituals have a time limit instead of a set amount. It's best to conserve your ammo and run away from them instead of fighting. However, the ones that appear after finding a ritual item must be killed.
In round 9+, rolling creatures similar to R.A.P.S. will appear, called Meatballs. These creatures explode immediately after making contact with a player. They spawn alongside Parasites every four to six rounds, like Hellhounds from other maps.
Civil Protector[edit]
The Civil Protector is a very powerful robot ally that will help players kill zombies and survive tough rounds. To summon the Civil Protector you must find three fuses and activate a fuse box in the Subway Station.
The fuses can be found at three different districts: Canal District, Waterfront District, and Footlight District. They are all on the upper floor section of each district, meaning you must open two gates to reach them. Their exact location changes at the start of each game, but they are always in the same area.
After collecting all three fuses, you must place them in the fuse box in the subway station through a rift. If you're unfamiliar with rifts, they are gateways beyond sealed, blue steel doors at the Canal District, Footlight District, and Waterfront District. These doors must be opened using the melee attack while transformed into the beast. Revert to human form after opening one of these doors and interact with the device inside one of these rooms. A rift will open that leads to the subway.
With the fusebox active you can summon the civil protector by activating CoP boxes for 2000 points. The robot will last for for two to three rounds. Summon the Civil Protector in all four districts to unlock an achievement / trophy.
Civil Protectors will also revive downed players. This feature is even more useful on Solo, since Quick Revive will not be used up if the player has it active. Other perks will be lost, unless the player is using the Aftertaste Gobblegum.
Building the Rocket Shield[edit]
A Rocket Shield is an optional weapon / piece of equipment that can be built in Shadows of Evil. To build the rocket shield you must find three items scattered throughout three districts: the Canal District, the Footlight District, and the Waterfront District.
These items are always in these districts, but the exact location will change at the start of each game. Purchase the door leading to each district, then become a beast to power a generator revealing a staircase to the areas holding these pieces.
After collecting all three parts, open the second gate in the Waterfront District. A workbench is located in this area where you can assemble the parts into a shield. Additionally, a workbench can be found in the Footlight District High Street. Now you and all your teammates can pick this shield up and use it in battle, and it won't even take up a weapon slot!
When the Rocket Shield is being used instead of a gun, press the fire button to burst through a group of zombies to instantly kill them. Kill at least ten zombies with a single burst to earn an achievement / trophy.
The shield can be upgraded into the Goddard Apparatus. This can be done by killing 10 zombies in one burst, twelve times in a row. Once upgraded, the shield is capable of four bursts instead of three, and gains additional strength.

It's best to read the information above before diving into the walkthrough. The beast mode section is vital to unlocking the entire map.
Easy Street (Start)[edit]
The map begins in a small alleyway called Easy Street. All players will start off with the Bloodhound, an eight round revolver.
Two weapons can be purchased off the walls in this area, a machine pistol and an assault rifle.
Weapon | Price | Locations |
---|---|---|
RK5 | 500 | Easy Street. In the alleway. |
Sheiva | 500 | Easy Street. In the alleway. |
The Quick Revive Perk-A-Cola Machine can be found in the small alcove in this alley, but the power must first be enabled. To do this, become the beast and zap the glowing generator.
While you're still the beast, melee the crate in the back of the truck near the gate. This crate contains the summoning orb ritual item for the Pack-A-Punch Machine.
At the back of the alley is a sealed blue steel door. Melee attack this door as the beast to open it and find a random Power Up. You will see a few of these doors around the map that lead to the Subway Station.
There is only one exit from Easy Street. Use 500 points to open the gate to the Junction.
Nero's Landing[edit]
The upper part of Easy Street can be reached after opening the gate to the Junction. Become the beast, go through the gate, and look towards the fire escapes above Easy Street.
Grapple onto the catwalks and quickly run down the path to a generator box at the back. Zap this box to open up a staircase, creating a path from Easy Street to the rooftops and penthouse.
This area is where the Golden Fountain Pen rituals takes place (more info in the Pack-A-Punch section above). Additionally, a shotgun can be purchased off a wall on the rooftop.

KRM-262 | 750 | Junction: On a shop door near the GobbleGum machine. |
Behind the GobbleGum machine is a gate to the Footlight District. This gate, like all the others nearby, can be opened with 1000 points.
At the end of the path is a Stamin-Up Perk-A-Cola Machine. Become the beast and zap the generator attached to the machine to activate it.
While you're still the beast, zap the generator attached to the crane in the middle of the area to drop a crate containing the golden fountain pen ritual item for the Pack-A-Punch Machine.
Lastly, a set of stairs near the Stamin-Up machine will lead down to the river and a sealed door. This door can only be opened from the other side. It connects the Junction with the Subway Station. More info down on the Subway Station section.
Canal District (Junction Side)[edit]
The Canal District immediately splits into two paths, but they will intersect down the road. The path on the left leads to a submachine gun on the wall.
Weapon | Price | Locations |
---|---|---|
Kuda | 1250 | Canal District: Near the entrance from the Junction. |
The path on the right leads to a Civil Protector Box. These won't be active right away. See the Civil Protector section above for more info.
Further ahead the paths will lead down to a series of canals. A chain trap is located in these canals, and can be activated with 1000 points. The chain trap will release a series of chains between the two activators (heads on a chain) which will kill anything walking through them.
Look around the canals for a sealed, blue steel door that can only be opened as the beast. Use a melee attack as the beast to open this door and find a rift. Return to this door as a human and interact with the device inside to open a rift. Step through the rift to instantly transport to the Subway Station.
Additionally, a wooden box containing the detective's badge ritual item for the Pack-A-Punch Machine can be found in the canals. This box can only be broken open with a melee attack as the beast. The gate blocking the box and badge can be opened by zapping a hidden generator that can only be seen when transformed as the beast. The generator is behind a wall in the canals with the beast logo painted on it. The beast logo is the same logo found at the lower left corner of the screen.
When you're done with the canals, or if you wish to avoid the things in the canals at this time, continue up the path to find a GobbleGum Machine near a coffee shop.
Near the GobbleGum machine are two gates that lead deeper into the Canal District. These gates can be opened with 1250 points. Buy one gate to open both.
Canal District (Monorail Side)[edit]
This side of the Canal District leads to the monorail station platform and a big red building called the Ruby Rabbit. On the side of the Ruby Rabbit is an assault rifle wallbuy.

To the left, passed the GobbleGum Machine and down a small alley, is a sealed blue steel door. This door can be opened with a melee attack as the beast. Inside is a device that opens a rift to the Subway Station. Return to human form to open this rift and step inside.
At the end of the path straight forward is a gate to the second half of the Footlight District. This gate can be opened with 1250 points.
Footlight District (Monorail Side)[edit]
This area is filled with abandoned cars. Try navigating to the middle of the street to find a small cafe (it looks like a ticket booth at first glance) with an assault rifle wallbuy on the front.
Weapon | Price | Locations |
---|---|---|
KN-44 | 1400 | Footlight District (Monorail Side): On the small cafe in the middle of the street. |
Behind the cafe is a huge building called The Black Lace Burlesque. This building can be entered by becoming the beast, grappling onto the eagle head near the top of the building, and zapping the generator when you fall down and turn around. Inside this building is an altar for the hairpiece ritual.
The Footlight District monorail platform is located on the other side of the street from the Footlight District (Junction Side) gate. Halfway up the stairs to the monorail platform is a gate to the Footlight District High Street. It can be opened with 1250 points.
Footlight District High Street[edit]
This area contains one of the fuses for the Civil Protectors fuse box and one of the parts for building the Rocket Shield can be found somewhere in this area.
Unlike the other High Streets, the Footlight District High Street can be reached immediately after entering the Footlight District. Zap the generator at the top of the stairs as the beast to open up the gate. This area can also be reached by purchasing the gate near the Footlight monorail platform.
If you've come from the Footlight District near the Junction, you can find a Perk-A-Cola Machine nearby. The generator connected to this perk must be zapped with electricity as the beast before it can be purchased.
Stare at the Perk-A-Cola machine and turn around. You might be able to see a wooden box across the gap. Become the beast, jump across the gap, and melee this box to find the hairpiece ritual item.
Continue up the Footlight District High Street to find a submachine gun wallbuy up a set of stairs.

HVK-30 | 1600 | Footlight District High Street: Between the diner and monorail platform. |
Subway Station[edit]
The Subway Station can only be accessed after going through a rift in the Footlight District, Waterfront District, or Canals District. The rifts are located behind blue steel doors that can only be opened with a melee attack as the beast. Once opened, return to human form and interact with the device inside to open the rift. Step through to instantly transport to the Subway Station.
The Subway Station contains the fuse box for the Civil Protectors. If you've collected all three from the high streets in three main districts, you can place them here to activate the Civil Protector boxes around the map.
Nearby is a GobbleGum Machine and the new Widow's Wine Perk-A-Cola Machine. Like always, the generator connected to this perk must be zapped with electricity as the beast before it can be purchased. Damage will still be taken from the attack.
Up the stairs is a submachine gun wallbuy.
Weapon | Price | Locations |
---|---|---|
Vesper | 1250 | Subway Station: Up the stairs leading to the Junction. |
Continue up the stairs to a small room with the Mule Kick Perk-A-Cola Machine. Again, the generator connected to this perk must be zapped with electricity as the beast before it can be purchased.
Up the stairs is one final generator that can be zapped with electricity as the beast. This will open up a door that leads back to the Junction.
Finally, a secret room in the Subway Station can only be accessed after completing four of the five rituals (more info in the map details section).
This room contains an altar for the fifth ritual and four stone basins where four gateworms can be placed. Complete the fifth ritual to access the Pack-A-Punch machine via the blue portal.
Shadows of Evil is one of the Map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie mode. In this Map, you can explore endless opportunities, be it Weapons, Transformations, Perks, Gobblegum or anything. This Ultimate guide will provide you details on each and every part of Shadows of Evil Map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Transformation into Beast
As you begin with this level you'll notice a purple torch on your left, go to the burning brazier and once you activate the torch you'll transform into a beast with all massive powers. You'll be allowed this power for a very limited time period so make maximum use of it.
You are twice as fast, powerful and destructive by nature in Beast mode so go ahead and didn't forget to inform your teammates that you are the beast and stop shooting you. After the time is up you return to a normal human mode with an explosive wave force that knocks back nearby enemies.
Zombie Levels
You Profile Levels are different in Zombie Mode from Campaign or Multiplayer Mode. When you play in Zombie Mode you can unlock various stuff as you gain more experience and progress in the game.
Cash
Every time you kill any zombie you earn certain cash. This cash will allow you to buy weapons, unlock Gobblegum, Perk-a-cola and unlocking the door for further levels. Some Door can also be unlocked by powering the devices by electricity.
Barricades
These are used to stop the zombies waves from specifying way like the doors, windows, jump out from murky water or crawl out of any other dark hole etc. So better start putting this barricades to slow down the flow of Zombie.
Zombie Waves
If you need to progress in the game you need to hunt down this Zombie one by one and stop running from them. The zombie waves get tougher and tougher as you keep killing and progress in their level so be prepared.
The Train
One and only means of Transport in this Morg City is the Train. You need Cash to use the train and travel across the city. It will help you travel fast in any of the Three districts.
Zombie Train
When you encounter Zombies in Train, according to me it becomes quite easier to kill them all as they will be in a large group and in a circular group as well so get ready and aim headshot for quick kills. Ask your teammates to join you in this session and take them all at once.
Zombie Time Please
Sometimes when you are not ready to take on the next level of Zombies and need some time to explore the city and gather some ammos you can keep the last zombie alive and preferably on the last stage as he won't be travelling fast.
Shadows of Evil Enemies
Parasites
Parasites are the most notorious and dangerous enemies in the Shadows of Evil Map. They are small and fast at their attacks and they buy most of your time. The Only way to deal with such enemy is to appoint a Marksman in your team who will completely focus on the Parasites and Rest c an easily focus on the Zombies.
Insanity Elementals
The Suicide bombers of the Map, they are very quick and all they do is roll on you and denote themselves leaving a huge health loss for us. It's better to take them down from a distance and keep an Eagle Eye on such Enemies.
Margwa
The most durable enemy are the Margwa as they cannot be beaten by just shooting them. You need to shoot the yellow glow inside their mouth in order to kill him. They best attack is the melee attack and they shake the ground while charging toward you, so better stay focused.
Weapons
Weapons in Shadows of Evil Map is Endless you keep exploring the city and you 'll encounter so many weapons, attachments and upgrades for your weapons. Weapons can Be brought by playing zombie mode and earning money in the mode. As you keep playing the zombie mode, you'll progress in the Profile Level which will unlock many new Weapons, classes to customize and the ability for the attachments same as you do in the Multiplayer Mode.
To locate different weapons, you need to see the white outline of the weapon on the crates or walls, doors etc. These walls also help you to reload the ammo once your out of one. So whenever you are out of ammo during the battle locate the nearest weapon spawner and get it refilled or locate the Mystery Box. Now, what is a Mystery Box? They are the boxes which can be found in a different location across the city. Once you found it you have to pay the fee to open it and get extraordinary weapons from it.
Powers and Perks
You need to Enter into beast mode in order to locate the electrical junction boxes and activate the flow of Power. Once you activate the flow of Power you can use the attached machines as the remainder of the match.
Perks are a purchasable item and very useful to survive in Zombie Mode. You can only purchase 4 perks at a Time so choose them wisely:
Quick Revive
With this Perk, you get a free self-revive in solo-play once you're downed by the enemies.
