A few have been struggling to download or re-download DLC and Season Pass content recently on the PS4.

Here is what to do to find your map packs and expansion packs etc.

Via the game page on the PS4 scroll down to the PlayStation store tab,then scroll left to Your Add-Ons from this tab you can download your purchases.

If you want to download a full game this should be accessible to download or download again via the purchased folder of your library. Recently some have had problems with this an alternative way is to trigger a remote download via the online web or PlayStation App version of the PlayStation store,sign in click on your profile top right hand corner to reveal your download list.

The download list will contain all purchases and will allow you to trigger a remote download if your PS4 is switched on and logged in or in rest mode.

going to the your add ons section does not show the season pass because it is still saying to download the pass. this is ineffective for me.

Season passes are not downloadable they are a service item which is viewable in the services section under account management.

Season passes do not always automatically add content to your account you need to add the item's to your account as and when they become available via the PlayStation store.Technically you have add the item's to your cart and 'purchase' them,as long as the season pass covers these items they will check-out as free.

So why can't I get the new Sao hollow realization dlc abyss of the shrine

i recently moved over to a ps4 from a ps3.

i have just bought the digital version of Destiny: The Taken King for £15.99 but it isn't showing up on my ps4 nor in my library or anything. it is showing on my download list via remote PC so have added to download queue for my ps4. it is marked in that as 'playable' but still, nothing on my ps4. i had it before on my ps3 also.

do you know anything about this?

im currently having issues with my nioh dlc content not being available, i payed 30$ for season pass and i cant access the in game content, i live in qatar, my account is qatarie and i bought the game in qatar, how can i fix this because 30$ is alot to pay if you have been ripped off

Recently i’ve bought dlc for Fallout 4, but as I try to install it, it says couldn’t find application, find it in the PS store? I have a game on disc and don’t want to pay again for digital copy.

If the content isn't seeing the game or it's waiting to install it means the game disk doesn't match the region of your PSN account.

The PS4 is region free and can play game disks from around the world, however DLC is region locked and must match the account and disk regions.

I have a problem

So I bought 4 black ops 3 dlc's but only 2 worked and now I think I got scammed I didn't play for about 6 months and so I had to re-download them but only 2 showed up and the other 2 are still pay to play and so now I'm *****

I've recently bought fallout 4 season pass and i have dl all but 2 dlc's far habor and nuka world.

But it keeps saying cannot dl

Now i have space in my hard drive

I've tried restarting the system

I've gone into ps store and all it does is says i have it installed

But the game itself says i dont have it

Any help on this would be great tx.

Check in your library under 'purchased' go to Fallout 4 and see what add-ons are there

Go to the PS Store on your PC or mobile and initiate download from there

On your PS4 go to settings>account management>restore licenses, and restore the licenses

Thank you very much for your reply i had a thought and deleted a game which freed up loads more space even thou i had over 20gb of space and low and behold they worked i can only think that the system retains a certain amout of space for saves and updates or what ever.

Downloads require twice as much free space as the download itself, so a 10GB download needs at least 20GB of space, 10GB for the download, 10GB reserved for the install, ends up at 10GB when finished.

Also when the PS4's storage gets below 50GB, it starts playing up. For whatever reason it doesn't like it

Modern video games are huge. The hassle of downloading a game generally falls into one of two categories: a test of your patience or a neverending torture session. Those with mediocre Internet speeds can languish for hours on end as they wait for Rocket League to download.

Fortunately, if you own a Sony Playstation 4, you don’t have to physically be seated at your PS4 in order to get the download process started. The ability to begin downloads remotely is incredibly beneficial for virtually everyone, regardless of Internet speed. Best of all, all you need is the official Sony Playstation app or a PC.

Note: the process of downloading games outlined in this article only pertains to digital copies of the game. If you have a physical copy, you’re going to need to stick the disc in the console to start the download/install process.

Prepare Your PS4

Before you do anything, make sure that your PS4 is configured properly. To download games remotely from your smartphone, your PS4 will have to be in “Rest Mode.” This refers to the power saving settings of the console. In Rest Mode your PS4 goes into a low power energy-saving state; however, it remains connected to the Playstation servers. This enables it to automatically wake up and download updates, patches, etc., as they are released.

Out of the box, Rest Mode is the default power setting for all PS4 consoles. Assuming that you didn’t change the power settings, you should be good to go. If you have changed this setting, or just want to double-check, navigate to the PS4’s settings menu. From here, select “Power Save Settings.” Finally, choose “Set Features Available in Rest Mode.” At this stage you just want to make sure that the “Stay Connected to the Internet” option is checked.

Download the Sony Playstation App

Now that your PS4 console is ready to go, you’ll need to grab the official Sony Playstation app. The app is available for both Android and Apple iOS devices. Once the app has finished downloading and installing, fire it up. It will prompt you to sign in to your Playstation Network account. You must sign in to the app using the same PSN account that you use on your PS4 console. If you don’t, then the process simply won’t work. If you use multiple accounts, you can check which one your PS4 is using by heading to “Settings -> Account Settings -> Sign In.”

Click on the Sign-In button and enter your PSN credentials in the pop-up window that appears. As with the app, you must sign in using the PSN account associated with the PS4 console you wish to download the games to.

Once you’ve signed in, the process is exactly the same as the app. Browse through the games, find one you like and add it to your cart. After checking out, you can download the game to your PS4 remotely by clicking on the “Download to your PS4” button.
