Battlefront 2 Crashing Pc
Both times, the freeze froze with a still image being stuck on the monitor. Then a loud buzzing noise coming from the speakers.
Not sure what is causing this. I upgraded my bios for the spectre bug since the last time i played. Wasnt crashing before.
My specs are
8700k @4.7 ghz
MSI 1080ti trio
Gskills tridentz 3600 DDR4
MSI Krait gaming z370 mobo
850W EVGA p2 PSU
Running at 2560x1600 resolution and rendering above my native resolution via options in the games
Running at 59-60 FPS consistantly
Have to hard turn off the computer to restart it.
The other game i play is Destiny 2. Its crashed too. Rarely though. The sound will cut out, and then a few seconds later it crashes, dont need to reset the PC when it happens though.
I run an HDMI cable from my 1080ti to my Sony STR-DH520 reciever and play the sound through there.
What could be causing this?
Just updated Windows 10 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 as of 12-4-2015, 1 pm EST. So far I ran Battlefront 2 (started and completely stopped and exited game 4 times and playing for about 5-10 minutes each time) without crashing on the 3.0 GHz computer with Realtek (on motherboard) sound device.

i recently started downloading some mods for battlefront 2 and now the game crashes only when i play with the original eras (clones wars or galactic) on an original map.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Crashing Pc
i can play an original map (e.g. naboo or the death star) if i playing with the KotOR era. and same the other way. i can play with the clone wars or galactic but only in a new download mod map.
dont know what happen i have tried disable the mods with the ultimate battlefront mod manager (or whatever its call) but even if they are all disable and i can only play the 'original' game it still crashes.
(it also crashes when i tried to play training and campaign).
